The 1stStepSolar 4 panel (760 W DC) kit contains everything needed to mount this “solar appliance” on an asphalt shingled roof. Everything. It includes panels, our no-tape-measure-needed mounting system, microinverter, cord, and electricity production monitor. Attach the roof brackets, hang the panels, and plug it in. Panels
Our panels are 190W 36-Cell Panels. Using monocrystalline module cells and 5 busbar technology, these are some of the highest efficiency panels on the market.
A lightweight aluminum frame and tempered glass keeps them strong while maintaining a managable 26lbs. The panels come in black or silver with a 10-year performance warranty.
Microinverter
The microinverter plugs directly into the panels and converts the DC power produced by the panels into AC power for your home to use. This kit comes standard with a 25 ft extension cord & 120V 3-prong plug
Phone App
Watch your roof make electricity from anywhere - a great conversation starter at any dinner party.
Monitor
The monitor is the information gateway for the microinverters. The unit collects module performance data and uploads solar production to the cloud. Watch your solar production with a smartphone or computer.
Kit Parts
Mounts
The mounts attach directly to the roof deck (no need to find your rafters). The mount seals tight to the roof surface with butyl mastic, and the screws use a watertight washer for a second layer of sealing.
The hooks clamp to the panels, then the panels just slide into place.

What's the difference between the "Starter Kit" and the "Expansion Kit"?
Both kits enable solar to power your house right out of the box.
The only difference between the two is that the "Starter Kit" has a power monitor included as well as a 25 ft cord extension.
The reason for this is that a single power monitor can monitor up to 30 microinverters. (15 kWh!)
